McGinnis Venture Competition: Call for Volunteers

The McGinnis Venture Competition,
an international, graduate-level new venture competition,
on March 10-12, 2011.

More than 30 teams will be competing for $60K cash + $60K in-kind corporate legal services. Ventures will be focused on technology, cleantech, or lifesciences.

Call for Volunteers:
We are seeking volunteers for each of the three days to help with time and score keeping. Volunteers can sign up for one shift or more.

--- Saturday Awards Dinner & Ceremony at the Carnegie Science Center
- Learn from peers from other institutions by watching pitches and observing the judges’ decision making process first-hand
- Meet 40+ judges from around the US

There are limited volunteer spaces so please RSVP ASAP. Please note your top choices from the four rounds listed below.

Thursday – March 10, 2011 Practice Round 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Friday – March 11, 2011 Qualifying Round 8:30 am – 1:30 pm
Saturday – March 12, 2011 Challenge Round 8:00 am – 11:30 pm
Final Round 11:30 am – 4:30 pm
