Plug and Play Tech Center will be coming to Carnegie Mellon on February 3rd to speak with all students interested in entrepreneurship.

Plug and Play Tech Center, which was founded in 2006, is a technology accelerator in the heart of Silicon Valley. It is an ecosystem of technology startups, investors, government, university, and corporate partners, all working to stimulate entrepreneurship and drive innovation. Quick facts on Plug and Play: – Houses over 300 technology startups – Partners with over 130 VC’s – Partners with over 50 Corporations for funding, M&A, and business development – In 2010 our startups went through M&A valued in excess of $600 million – Our community of startups have raised a total of over $750 million in funding since inception.

They will be coming to campus to discuss a possible collaboration between Plug and Play and CMU startups. This information session is open to all interested parties, including business, engineering, and computer science students. Come to hear their CEO, Saeed Amidi, speak about how they are growing and how CMU can be their next big partner!
