Alden Mills (Tepper MBA ’00), is CEO and Co-Founder of Perfect Fitness, the maker of the Perfect Pushup, Perfect Pullup and the Perfect Situp. Alden went to the Naval Academy where he earned the privilege of attending Basic Underwater Demolition School and went on to become a Navy SEAL. In 2000 he retired from the Teams, at the rank of Platoon Commander, on a Friday. The following Monday he showed up at the Tepper School to pursue an MBA. In the Navy Alden learned firsthand that a SEAL must learn to take control of his body. This philosophy explains why Alden founded a fitness company: if people can take control of their body and put pain and false limitations aside, then they can be more successful in everything they do and achieve their full potential. In less than seven years, Alden’s revolutionary fitness products went from “As Seen On TV” to the #1 selling fitness products in over 22,000 retail stores. Alden lives in the Bay Area with his wife Jennifer and their four children.
